Joaquin Guerrero

Joaquin Guerrero is a sought after K9 trainer/instructor, having owned five German shepherd trained police/service dogs in the last 15 years. He is a certified trainer through the National Association of Professional Canine Handlers (NAPCH) and teaches an obedience course for civilians at Apache Acres, his own K9 training center and facility.

A 22-year police veteran, Joaquin would be willing to give K9 demos and/or talk about proper nutrition for dogs at the pet expo. He has made thousands of public appearances with his dogs since the inception of Precinct 131, using his K9 partner as the mascot for his program. Guerrero’s desire for the future is to adapt Precinct 131, now 13 years strong, into Operation Broken Arrow and bring the same type of anti-substance abuse program into Native American communities and schools.

Joaquin’s remarkable story of service includes search-and-rescue at Ground Zero, which has been captured in a new book Michigan and Rookie: Guardians of the Night. Proceeds from the book sales go to his nonprofit organization. I’ve attached a media kit for you review if you would like further information.

Ultimate Air Dogs

ULTIMATE AIR DOGS , one of the premier dock jumping organizations in the country, puts on professional events that entertain thousands of spectators while maintaining a family friendly atmosphere. Our shows become the feature of every festival or show that we do!

We started as a grassroots Michigan dock jumping club, striving to make every single participant feel important, from the smallest Novice jumper to the biggest Ultimate high flyer! That is why we created the Divisional Finals where the top 5 dogs from each division are invited to compete in a Grand Finale! Another way that we put the dog first, is by providing more open dock time than any other organization. Whenever possible our participants will be able to practice. If dogs are having difficulty learning, our crew of volunteers will often provide free help between activities. Every Ultimate Air Dog is equally special. All mixes and breeds are welcome!

Ultimate Air Dogs has partnered with Purina to round up participants for the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge as seen on CBS's "The Late Show with David Letterman" Purina has been a long time sponsor of Ultimate Air Dogs and our mascot, “Sparky” Wilcox. Many people come to our events just to meet our president and main announcer, Milt Wilcox, the former Detroit Tiger pitcher famous for winning the 1984 World Series! Milt and Sparky have been seen on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and ESPN’s “Cold Pizza” along with competing in many of their “Great Outdoor Games.”

Rock-N-Roll K9s

The magnificent Rock-N-Roll K-9’s Performance Team has been providing good family fun entertainment for millions of spectators since 1995. You will witness a variety of breeds in every color, shape, size and age, as well as everyone’s favorite, the All American Mix. Our experienced handlers work side by side with their. own personal loving companions, each one providing talent and skills that make every Rock-N-Roll K-9 show unforgettable. We custom design each performance, selecting from a wide variety of segmented events. At any given production you will enjoy the fun and antics of our amazing canine stars doing what they love to do most…..Grand Prix racing, high jumping, flyball, musical mats, tricks, team relay racing, limbo competition, choreographed obedience routines, Scooby Says, barrel racing and much more. Each show segment is mixed with audience participation, comedy, special effects with unexpected surprises and the beat of some famous Rock & Roll music.

There is an extremely valuable portion of our event that is a huge favorite of the teams, that being our Meet & Greet at the end of each performance. This is when the Rock-N-Roll K-9’s are given the opportunity to visit with fans, answer questions and introduce their canine stars to everyone that wants to meet them up close and personal.

The Rock-N-Roll K-9’s Performance Team has had the honor and privilege to have appeared in thousands of events with this outstanding assembly of trainers and their super stars. Pet expos, large festivals, Classic car shows, halftime games for the Detroit Pistons & Shocks, Grand Openings, schools, libraries, fund raisers for animal rescues, tons of parades with one of them being the largest thanksgiving day parade in the country. It was with great pride that we were the first performance canine team in 83 years to march down Woodward Avenue in the 2009 America’s Thanksgiving Parade. When given the opportunity, we are truly confident in predicting that these extraordinary stars will be sure to steal your hearts, leaving you with a wonderful warm smile on your face as only man’s best friend can do
